This past weekend we had so much going on, but decided to add something else to our list of things we wanted to do. The waterfront was having it's annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, and we thought it would be fun to go and see what it had to offer.
When we got there, we were quite surprised to see all of the things we could do. They had a whole carnival section with games and rides, a vendor section with souvenirs and knick-knacks you don't need, and then a whole food section with every variety possible.
We decided to venture over to the carnival part where they had rides for the little ones. We asked Connor if he wanted to go on a boat ride and at first he said "no." We asked him a little while later and he said "yes." Of course, we figured we'd get him into the boat and he'd cry and want to get out, but he surprised us all and stayed on the ride! And from there, he went on about 6 more rides and had the biggest grin on his face.
Oh yeah, and of course we ate. That's the best part of festivals!
