After surfing the web (see it pays off sometimes!) I came across an advertisement about "1-2-3 Imagine Elmo" coming to Portland. And just my luck, pre-sale was going on the next day. I scoured the Internet for pre-sale codes and I finally found one. I got on Ticketmaster the next morning, and was able to score second row tickets. I went on again (I have no idea why) and was able to then get first row tickets (Ryan told me to just get them!) I knew Connor would have so much fun there, and his happiness is all that we care about!!
Sarah & Justice decided to give us some money for our extra tickets so they could go with us. They have helped us so much over the past 2 years that it was so special to go with them (Sarah has helped us save so much money through her "envelope system", Justice and Connor are best friends, and Sarah I love to death!) Justice is obsessed with Elmo as well, so we knew he would love it. I am so thankful for the Gardner's and I know they had as much fun as we did!!
Overall, we had such a good time. We were so close to the stage, and every character passed in front of us at least once. The look on Connor and Justice's face was priceless, and our pictures truly do say a thousand words! Ryan and I were definitely pleasantly surprised how good the show was, and we all had so much fun!!!
