Beauty and the Beach

As the summer began to wind down, we decided to hit the beach one last time and take Connor out for a special treat after-wards. We visited Stony Creek Metropark for the afternoon, and anyone who knows Connor, knows he just loves the water. Even though it was a little chillier out than normal for a summer afternoon, it didn't stop him from swimming and flopping around like a fish. And what made it even better, Daddy : )

After we dried off, we decided to head over to the Rainforest Cafe. We know how much Connor loves animals, so we thought this would be a perfect ending to a perfect afternoon. Even though their food is quite expensive, the look on his face while he ate was priceless. He had so much fun looking around at the animals talking, the thunderstorm show and talking elephants that food was the last thing on his mind. He sure did love his frozen drink and chocolate cake though. Just like his mother : )
