This one was better than the Oregon one, but not nearly as neat as the Canadian African Lion Safari. You drive up and pay, and then get the option of purchasing carrots to feed the animals (we went overboard with the carrots, assuming Connor would love to feed them. NOT) and then drive through, sighing and mumbling at the people who've fed the ostrichs their entire bag of carrots, all with a smile on your face. You're pretty much "awwing" at the little ones feeding the animals, or "ewwing" at the saliva and drool rolling down the side of your window while you yourself feed them. Connor was absolutely terrified of the animals and refused to feed them, so Ryan and I pretty much did all the grunt work while Connor watched. I think he enjoyed bouncing around in the seats and flip-flopping back in forth from the back to the front without his seatbelt more. The things we do for our kids :p
On our way there
They're pushy suckers!
HI
These guys seriously ate half our carrots
Glad it's not our car!
That bison's tongue was disgustingly long
I found that out here...
Me: "Connor, do you want to feed them?"
Connor: "NOPE!" and he took off..
Our tour guide/feeder/video man AKA Mr. Producto
