Ryan has been such an asset to his company, that he keeps going with wherever it goes. (He started out in Orlando, the company sold to Portland, and again to Michigan). I'm really proud of all of the hard work he's been doing, and I'm happy to see that someone else recognizes that as well : )With relocation paid for, we just had to sit back and let the movers take care of all of our stuff. Next time though, they're packing for us lol!
While Ryan drove across the country with the cats, Connor and I flew to Buffalo to stay a while with the Buffalo clan while things got set up in our temporary apartment. I was so nervous on the air plane since I've never flown with him by myself, and was so flippin' happy when that airplane ride was over. Connor was so good, but it was nerve wracking trying to get to the airport on time, get through security with all of our stuff (ie. carseat, stroller and 3 carry-ons) on a plane, and then have a layover, and then on a plane again. The only thing I can recommend to someone flying with a little one is LOTS of toys, LOTS of food, and LOTS of patience.
The first day we were there, Dawn & Andy had a train ride planned for Father's Day. It was such a nice scenic ride and it gave us all some time to catch up and talk about the upcoming week. When we first got there, I think the boys were all skeptical since the train was so loud, but they eventually warmed up as we got on. I think they had more fun climbing over the seats to get to Grams & Papa than the actual train ride, but you can be the judge by the pictures.
All-aboard!
