We've been to the Children's Museum here in Portland a few times, and Connor really enjoyed it. We figured that while we were in Seattle, we may as well do that as well. There are pros and cons to each museum, but overall I liked the Seattle one better. It seemed a lot less crowded, and more things for his age group to do.
His favorite part of the museum was the camping area. He kept running around to the rocks and lifting them up to see what was in them (leaves, mice, rocks). That, and of course he loved the fish. We also played in water, cooked in the Spanish kitchen, built in the mechanic area, visited the ambulance and fire truck, explored "cog" station, and roamed the ethnic village. I think we stayed there for about an hour and a half, and we kind of had to drag and redirect out of there lol : )
