Ride the Duck Tour
Thanks to a co-worker of Ryan's, we decided to do the infamous "Ride the Duck" tour of Seattle. It's a land and water tour of the famous landmarks in the city. Even though the morning started out a little rough (it was actually me, and not Connor haha) the tour was definitely worth it. We saw so many neat things that we would have never seen without going on this tour. Our tour guide was great, and kept things very funny and interesting. We learned a lot, and Connor had a lot of fun despite the temperature : )
Where we started
The port where cruise ships dock
Nuff said...
This thing weighs 18 tons and almost knocked over the building when it was put up
Our descent into the water
Connor & Daddy looking at the boats (We also saw the "Sleepless in Seattle" houseboat. Only $2.2 million!)
He decided to pick out the biggest duck the store had haha
Our entertainment before we got aboard
The view from Lake Union

Our First Night In Seattle
Connor & Daddy exploring while I got some books to entertain Connor
Our hotel view
Don't ask, I have no idea haha. It was outside the Cheesecake Factory
He's adorable : )
Another view of where our hotel was
Dinner. Ryan just looked over my shoulder to point out that he looks like he's sharing a body with Connor.
Haha. No idea...
He only ate the darn whipped cream
Watching the "crab" show A.K.A The Deadliest Catch

Where In The World Are Ryan, Danielle & Connor?
Ever since we moved to the west coast we've wanted to go to Seattle. We've heard such good things about it there from numerous people, so this past weekend we gave it a try.
We decided to leave after Connor woke up on Saturday, and our first stop was the Tacoma Zoo. I don't know if Connor's mood was affected by his short nap on the way there or what, but he wasn't having any of the animals. He kept telling us he was "scared", but I think the pictures prove otherwise : ) Overall, the zoo was okay, but nothing like the Portland Zoo. I guess there were pros and cons, like there is to everything. I think Mother Nature could have welcomed us to Tacoma without the rain clouds though : ) Oh yeah, and Connor was ALL about Daddy this trip, and I was offended lol!

Nothin' Like A Good Ole BBQ With Friends
When the cat is away, the mice shall play! Just kidding :p Ryan had been in Detroit, Jesse in Canada and Daniel had been working late, so us girls were trying to find something to do. Sarah was kind enough to invite us all over for a BBQ and playdate. We had yummy hotdogs, beans and salad along with my very first sweetened tea. I'm thinking I should try new things a little more often : ) The boys had fun playing and watching the movie "Cars", while us mommies chatted about every day life. It was a lot of fun, and the boys were adorable eating their chocolate ice cream. These are the days I'm really going to miss when we move. (Thanks Sarah for the pictures!)
