It's SANTA, I know him, I know him!!

Yeah, I know what you're thinking. You've looked at your calendar and realized it's April, and I'm posting about December. Better late than never, right??

I'm a little bit of an overachiever when it comes to being a Mom, and I'm always planning things to take Connor too. We found out that Santa was coming to Van Hoosen farm, which isn't far from us, so we decided to head over there and check it out. Better yet, Ryan was able to come with!

We took a nice wagon ride over to the main building where we had to get our tickets and wait until our time came to meet Santa. We walked around and watched the train exhibit, had some fresh Christmas cookies from there old fashioned kitchen, and then met Santa. Connor was surprisingly talkative and told Santa everything he wanted for Christmas. He did great, and we even have pictures to prove it. We had a great time!

Flint Childrens Museum

Ahh, the joys of owning a home! There is always so much to do, and so little time, especially if you have a little one running around. You always want to spend as much time as you can with them, but you also want to be able to get some things done after the purchase of your new house, especially after the one we bought : ) I decided to take Connor to the Flint Children's Museum with a friend so we could get out of Ryan's hair for a little bit and explore some more of our city.

It's not the biggest children's museum we've ever been too, but it had a lot of things he enjoyed doing. When we first got there (after an hour drive + a lunch pit stop) we went over and built with blocks. From there, we explored the bug room, marbles, weights, a supermarket, dress up, musical instruments, a playhouse and so much more. It was definitely worth the drive, and since we have a Science Museum membership, very little cost!
