Splish Splash

After the zoo the boys were pretty much exhausted. It was hot out that day, so we thought a perfect end to to that day was to have the boys play and swim in the pool at Aunt Dawn & Uncle Andy's house. They putted around on the ATV's, and bikes first and I must say, Joe's a great driver! He drove the boys around and Connor and Thomas got a couple turns at driving as well. Now I know why you can't get a license until you're 18 :p

The Buffalo Zoo

It has been years since we went to the Buffalo Zoo. We're from Buffalo, and I can only count on my one hand how many times I've been there (or maybe it's more and I just don't remember). We're kind of Zoo-connoisseurs and we love to explore the zoos and see which zoo has the best exhibits and/or attractions. I think Disney's Animal Kingdom is at the top of our list, and so far nothing has come close : )

When it comes to kids, you can pretty much find anything to do that they deem fun. Who doesn't love a zoo? Grams & Papa were able to come with us, and it was nice seeing the zoo again. The boys had tons of fun, and it wore them out pretty good :p We had lunch and ice cream, saw tons of animals, went on a train ride and then got stuffed animals from Aunt Dawn & Uncle Andy. Our day couldn't have gotten any better, but it did. Daddy came into Buffalo that night, and spent the next two days with us : ) Here are some pictures of us monkeyin' around at the zoo!

Wordless Wednesday

Fantasy Island

Since Connor loves going on rides, I thought Fantasy Island was a great idea for a place to take the boys to have some fun. It's definitely cheaper than most places, and we like that because we just go there for the kids rides. It's not worth paying through the nose when there's such a limited selection of rides for the little ones to go on!

Joseph, Thomas & Connor had so much fun there, and they hopped back and forth between boat rides, balloon rides, motorcycles, cars, ladybugs and the petting zoo. We even managed to squeeze in lunch and the water park. Thanks Dawn & Andy for setting it up!
