Connor's Friend Birthday Party

I'm continuously amazed at how fast time flies when you have children. It's clique to say, but it always seems like it was just yesterday they were a baby!

For his 2nd birthday, we had a friend party at Pump It Up, and everyone had so much fun. So this year, we decided to have his party at Kiddie Klub. Our nephews were coming out to stay with us and see the Imagination Movers, so we thought that would be a perfect weekend to have his birthday. We've never had a party with family, so this was extra special to us.

Kiddie Klub is a giant indoor play area with climbing structures, three different play rooms (a kitchen, dress up area, and train table/truck area) and lots of riding toys. Everyone had a great time, and it was so nice to see Connor with his new friends. Unfortunately, Kiddie Klub is now closed for indoor play, but we will always have fond memories!

Happy 3rd Birthday Connor!

I know, I know. I'm SOOO far behind on my blog. When I first started doing it, I had it in my head that I would post at least 2-3 times a week, if not more. I guess I thought I had more spare time than I actually do, so this has been one of many things that have fallen by the wayside. So let's get right into Connor's 3rd birthday!

When we moved into our new house, we were looking for themes to do in Connor's room. I came across such a cute bedding collection at Kohl's, and decided to run with it. What boy doesn't just love dinosaurs!? (He had decided on being a dinosaur for last Halloween, so that was my first clue!) The Detroit Science Center had a dinosaur exhibit, so we thought it would be the perfect place to spend his special day. Followed by a dinner at Red Robin, he was the happiest kid on the block! His amazement at things we do is always priceless!!

Toy Story On Ice

Who doesn't just love Toy Story!? We have had our fair share of watching all three movies, so when the ice show came, it was a no brainer! Seeing the performers reenact Toy Story 3 was amazing, especially all the costumes and characters coming to life. The look on Connor's face is always priceless, and worth every penny!
