Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to all of you Dad's out there, especially our own!
Here are the top ten things Connor loves about his Daddy:
1). Your love is so unconditional
2). You make me laugh like no one else
3). You snuggle with me at night
4). I can get away with so much by flashing that adorable smile
5). You take the time to teach me things
6). You always have the energy for me, no matter how grueling the day has been
7). You taught me the words "doopa" and "tootie"
8). You take me for wheelbarrow rides
9). You always teach me to persevere
10). Your goal is to always make me happy : )

Shaving Cream Fun
Without trying to go bankrupt in the winter with a lack of things to do, one has to get creative. I think back to my Doodlebug days and try to come up with new things to do, that we can do at home for little or no cost. I had a doctors appointment in the winter before a big snow storm, so I decided to stop at the grocery store to make sure we were stocked up on things so we didn't have to trudge around in the snow. I walked past the shaving cream aisle, and a light bulb went off. I thought it was a perfect way to have fun for a low cost. It seriously was the best $1.16 I had spent in a long time. See for yourself!
FYI: I would let him do this naked next time, it was quite the mess : )

Gymnastics is NOT just for boys!
I was looking for something to do with Connor during the looonnngg winter months, and stumbled across the GTC here in Rochester (The Gymnastics Training Center). They had a very reasonable 8 week class that was held once a week, so we decided to try it out.
All in all, Connor loved it! I think it actually was a little slow for him, but in his true nature he was still a great participant and listener. He practiced his tumbling, pencil rolls, balancing skills, stretching, and animal walks. We would definitely do it again. I'm really blessed to be able to experience all of these things with him!!
